Everyone wants to know, but no one really likes to talk about it. Money. Personally, I become frustrated when a service provider's website shares no information about rates, fees, terms, etc. to help me make decisions. So in an effort to make it as easy as possible as you narrow your search for an interior designer, please review the following:

The Skinny:

• Rates: $90/hour and time is tracked and invoiced in ¼ hour increments.
• Travel: 50% of the hourly rate. Whenever possible, I will combine often-traveled trips (tile and furniture stores, for instance) and share the travel costs with several clients.
• Invoices are sent monthly and include a detailed list of my work efforts shown in ¼ hour increments. Payment is required within ten business days.
• A small retainer is often requested to secure your project on the work calendar and will be credited on the final invoice.
• Associate or Design Assistant time spent on the project will be billed at the reduced rate of $68/hour
• Any expenses related to your project purchased by my office are assessed a 20% administrative fee.
